Our Mission

Building opportunities through fundamentals, mentorship, and joy.

My mission is to create meaningful opportunities for young people in our community. I want every kid in the 815 area to have access to positive, fun, and supportive basketball experiences — something that isn’t always easy to find. KS Basketball Camp was built to change that.

I am committed to bringing energy, joy, and growth to every session. Making sure each camper feels welcomed, encouraged, and proud of their progress is my top priority. If the families and kids aren’t satisfied, then neither am I. I will always work to make each camp better than the last.

  • Access for all: keep costs low, remove barriers
  • Confidence: build skills and belief in self
  • Character: teamwork, effort, leadership

Your feedback matters. If there’s ever anything we can do to improve a camper’s experience, please reach out. Together, we can continue shaping KS Basketball Camp into the best program it can be — one that reflects the needs and voices of the young athletes we serve.

Testimonials

What parents and campers are saying

“My kids have attended Kevin’s camp since its inception. Kevin has taken a school project and, through his incredible vision and drive, has turned it into a community event that can’t be measured—only felt. From start to finish, the camp was thoughtfully planned, beautifully executed, and meaningful for everyone involved.”

– Kim Stewart

“When our son attended a one-day basketball camp, we assumed it would be like any other— drills, games, a few hours of activity. But once we arrived, we realized this camp was something special. It was built on purpose: a young athlete’s passion for helping other kids grow their skills and rediscover their love for the game.”

– Nga Nguyen-Tran Dossasorith

“Within just three hours, I learned so much and became a better player. I got the chance to learn from college players and a former NBA player, and I made new friends while playing games and winning prizes. It was incredibly fun and informative, and I definitely plan to return next year.”
